Foi uma caminhada difícil de 14 dias que envolveu muita motivação e que valeu a pena! Como é trekking até o Everest Base Camp A viagem começa num voo de Catmandu para Lukla, uma cidade a 2860 m de altitude e é o único acesso a Cordilheira do Himalaia para subir o Everest. Você pode ir com um avião pequeno com mais 10 pessoas bem teco teco mesmo ou ir de helicóptero. O aeroporto de Lukla é bem pequeno e um dos mais perigosos do mundo devido a sua pista curtinha e localização. Como está em meio as montanhas, é muito comum que as nuvens o cubram, impedindo pousos e aterrissagens. É totalmente imprevisível. Do aeroporto você já sai caminhando para fazer a trilha, a qual é estreita caminha em fila indiana mesmo e muito irregular, com alguns trajetos em pedra e terra e na maioria das vezes beirando um penhasco! Precisa ter muito cuidado, pois sempre há córregos que atravessam a trilha, provenientes do degelo. Existem pontes durante o caminho, algumas de metal com grades para proteção e outras só de madeira, feita com toras, sem proteção alguma, que devem ser atravessadas com muita atenção para não resbalar e ser levado pelas águas. Durante todo o caminho você verá burros, yaks e pessoas levando todo tipo de mantimento para a montanha. O dia acaba na vila seguinte do trajeto, onde você poderá comer e dormir. Os kms percorridos a cada dia variam e os guias contam em horas tem dias que irá caminhar 3 horas, em outros será 6 horas, vai depender muito da dificuldade do percurso. O segundo dia é o mais pesado de todo o trajeto pois é só subida. São 3 horas difíceis que devem ser caminhadas com muita calma e passos curtos para vencer o mal de altitude. Dicas para superar o mal de altitude Caminhar em passos pequenos e constantes, usar trekking pole, alimentar-se bem comer muito carboidrato e vegetais, tomar sopa de alho a 3500 a 4000m, ajuda bastante, não tomar banho a partir dos 4000m pois baixa a pressão, remédio para altitude chamado Dinamox. O que levar para o o trekking até o Campo Base Leve somente o necessário, pois cada quilo a mais será um sufoco durante a subida. Vários hostels em Catmandu possuem um lugar para guardar as mochilas de quem vai escalar, é uma forma de garantir o cliente no retorno. Leve Tênis confortáveis para caminhada tem alguns riachos no caminho, seu pé vai molhar, então leve tênis que seca rápido..meus amigos só sentiram frio quando chegaram ao campo base. Se estiver no começo do inverno, leve uma bota de caminhada impermeável e um saco de dormir para não congelar ehehehe Trekking pole é indispensável, te ajuda muuito! Você pode alugar saco de dormir, trekking pole e mochila em Catmandu. Para não levar tanta roupa, lave a roupa que você usou no dia assim que chegar no hostel. No dia seguinte ela estará seca claro que vai depender da estação do ano. Dessa forma, leve poucas peças e uma para cada finalidade, como 2 a 3 camisetas dry fit, 1 blusa fleece, 1 camiseta de manga comprida, 1 par de luvas, 1 touca, 1 jaqueta corta vento, 1 blusa de plumas aquelas japonesas que ficam bem pequenas na mal, 3 pares de meias, 3 calcinhas/cuecas, 1 capa de chuva, óculos de sol, protetor solar, protetor labial, hidratante para pele. Leve um baralho ou livro pois em alguns dias você fica muito tempo no hostel. E vários Snacks como barrinha de cereal, bolachas integrais e talvez até algumas sementes e frutas secas não revistaram nada disso no aeroporto do Nepal. Quando fazer o trekking Everest Base Camp Estre trekking até o campo base foi realizado em setembro, um período de transição, com menos chuvas porém muuuitas nuvens. A melhor época é em outubro, quando o inverno está começando e o céu está bem limpo, favorecendo uma vista incrível do Everest. Como contratar um guia Existem dois tipos o pacote turístico com hospedagem, comida, guia e licença do parque incluídos e o pacote simples de guia + licença do parque. O guia é praticamente obrigatório e custa 25 USD por dia. Neste último pacote você paga o quarto separado. Meus amigos recomendam o guia Narayan Bhandari da empresa Trek Around Nepal pvt. Favoreça o turismo local e contrate guias da região. O governo não dá suporte algum ao povo, nem quando teve o terremotos, e os locais dependem do turismo para sobreviver. Evite contratar empresas estrangeiras. Gaste seu dinheiro com nepaleses de verdade! Quanto custa Everest Base Camp trekking Um quarto para casal custa 700 rúpias a diária 8USD. No início do trajeto é mais barato pois conforme vai subindo, as hospedagens vão ficando mais escarsas. A comida variava entre 300 a 500 rúpas 3-5USD. Lembrando que o banho não está incluso no pacote 100 a 200 rúpias, assim como internet e carregadores. Se você levar mais baterias da camera não precisa pagar esta taxa. No hotel/guest house tem água para vender, porém você pode levar uma garrafinha e encher com água normal, lembrando de usar um Clorin 30 min antes de beber. The vast majority of their time, however, isn’t spent climbing up the flank of the mountain. It’s spent resting, acclimatizing, and preparing at the mountain’s two principle base camps, one on the Nepal side and one on the opposite side of the mountain in Tibet. Life at base camp is an odd mix of mundane domesticity, logistical challenges, and the occasional flash of life-or-death tale of two campsThere are two principle routes to the summit of Everest—each with its own base camp and unique flavor of tent-dwelling experience. The North Ridge, on the Tibet side of the mountain, offers easier access It’s possible to drive vehicles all the way to base camp. Many North side expeditions originate in Kathmandu, Nepal, and then drive across the border into China to reach the South Col route, meanwhile, is accessed through Nepal and typically requires a week of trekking to reach the foot of the mountain, though helicopters have taken a big bite out of the relative remoteness of this side of the camps are pitched in two mighty glacial valleys. Although these practices ensure modern camps are kept relatively clean, venture off the trail a bit and you will discover large piles of trash—the remnants of expeditions from earlier, less enlightened times. On the Nepal side efforts are ongoing to gradually remove all this trash. This year, in an effort to limit the amount of trash and waste, Chinese officials restricted access to the Tibet base camp to climbing expeditions, forbidding tourists from glampingLike all cities, there are some “neighborhoods” that are better than others, which is to say not all Everest teams enjoy the same accommodations. What separates a high-end camp from budget accommodations? The fanciest commercial outfitters now provide walk-in wall tents with beds, unlimited electricity through gasoline generators, hot showers, strong reliable Wi-Fi, projectors for after-dinner movies, and even dedicated tents for yoga and stretching. But such creature comforts don’t come cheap. The most luxurious operators charge upwards of $100,000; while budget outfits cost between $25,000 - $40, show up at Everest base camp looking for disco balls and epic parties, however. Most teams remain relatively insular and turn in early—until they've summited, at the end of the season, most guided climbers beeline it for home as quickly as possible, but there's still weeks of work left for the base camp staff to dismantle everything and see that it transported down valley for safe storage.
